Created in 2004, the company API Tech first focused on industrial machines and automatons.

Specialized in the fields of automatism, electromechanics and data processing, its working standards are the symbiosis of skills and industrial reliability. The design office, made up of specialist engineers, designs robust machines that are designed to operate continuously. In-house too, the workshop team ensures the production of the machines by scrupulously following the established specifications.

In 2015, API Tech will enter the foodtech segment with an industrial level requirement. By creating the Smart Machines, API Tech puts its technology at the service of traditional food: breads, pizzas, delicatessen dishes?

Dynamic and professional, API Tech welcomes each new project with passion and works perpetually to optimize its technologies.

Management

Frédéric Deprun

Chief executive

Business manager and automation engineer for several years in different industries, Frédéric Deprun has undertaken many missions including internationally. Having always wanted to work for himself, he decided to set up API Tech at the age of 29.

Passionate about technology and machinery, he had been looking for a long time in which API Tech could market its own products and after being interested in Food Tech, it has seemed obvious to embark on the development of Smart Machines whose market is global.

However the success of this project was not possible without a developer able to support the company in a "startup" development, and this is how the Mentor Group became a shareholder of API Tech.

Loïc Michaux

Sales director

After completing his studies at ICN Business School, Loïc Michaux joined a recruitment agency as a chargé d'affaires. Passionate about new technologies, Loïc joined API Tech company because he was seduced by this new distribution mode and the perspectives that it opened.

Now part of the team as Commercial Director, the ambition is to become the number one player in the world. API Tech also recently opened new trade offices in US, United Kingdom and Germany.

Eric Valette

Technical manager

With his postgraduate diploma in industrial automated production from Nancy University, Eric has worked during 12 years as project manager in automation in various companies.

He mainly realised projects in steel industry in Lorraine region and Luxembourg. He also worked on several projects in the car industry (PSA Group): assembly lines, automated stock…

Captivated by API Tech’s dynamism and ambition, Eric joined the team in 2007. At the core of the research unit, challenges are taken up daily and it is stimulating.
